"Treasure Chest" Tipover Box $250SOLD!
Produce livestock, any items, or even a small person!
This prop was gently used for two seasons during my resort bookings to produce my daughter! Before the second season, it was completely re-painted to represent the
current "Pirate Chest" look. Look carefully -- this is a great design. The sides do not tip with the box, but create "screens" for excellent 3/4 viewing angles!
The box is very deceptive as the load chamber goes deep into the table top. The actual dimensions of the box are about 24"X15"X15", but the load chamber is DEEPER -- 23"X14"X18.5"! The lid hinges so the chest can be shown empty, and we used a tissue paper "break through" top during performance. This will work for a person to bust out of, or for reaching in and taking out livestock or production items. Notice where she is resting her arms; this top curves upward like a traditional "Treasure Chest", allowing more room inside (about 3-1/2" not included in the dimensions given.)

Bruce Chadwick Bow Sawing $1,400 SOLD!

Effect: Sawing a lady in half? You ask for the assistance of a lady from the audience who lays down on a low six foot long table that is about a foot and a half wide. You place a wooden stock around her midsection and introduce a dangerous looking bow saw. You then start sawing through the stock and seemingly through the spectator! After sawing to the bottom of the stock, you remove the stock and your volunteer is discovered to be inside the perimeter of the bow saw, the blade having penetrated her body! She must sit up or stand to her feet for the saw to be removed by lifting it over her head!
The illusion comes complete with bow saw, stock, instructions, and a roadshow type carrying case which doubles as the sawing table. The table/case when closed measures about 18" x 36" x 8" and resembles a medium-sized suitcase that weighs about seventy-five pounds when loaded. This is truly a professional one-man portable illusion that packs small and plays big! The bow saw is formed out of high-strength one inch tubular steel and the blade has been nickel-plated to a near mirror finish. The stocks are made of the finest birch lauan, with black formica type laminate borders and natural wood laminate interiors. Note that this is not the same effect as the Abbott sawing and while similar in effect to the Owen version, it is much less expensive and different in working. This illusion was improved and modified from Robert Harbin's original See Saw plans and is made from the finest quality materials and workmanship. It is a commercial and compact illusion that may be performed surrounded using any volunteer from the audience.
